2016-02-22: Red Hens Cristóbal Pagán Cánovas and Inés Olza win a Spanish Excelencia Grant for fundamental research on TIME expressions in language and gesture, using Red Hen data and Red Hen tools. In 2015, the Region of Murcia awarded Red Hen Javier Valenzuela a grant for the same project.

2015-11-29: How insane is that? Red Hen now has an entirely automated, networked station capturing 2 hours of data per day running on a Raspberry Pi 2 B, which costs fewer than $40, is as long and as wide as a credit card, and weighs not even one-tenth of a pound.

2015-01-29. Red Hen co-PI wins Anneliese Meier Research Prize from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, carrying six years of research support.
