Domain mapping

Solved by Austin Bennet, who proposed domain mapping by changing settings on Google Sites

(https://support.google.com/sites/answer/99448?hl=en) and pair.com, where redhenlab.org resides

(https://www.pairnic.com/faq_dns.html; see How do I turn on Web Site Forwarding? and

How do I direct my pairNIC domain name to Google Apps?)

Task:

The Google Site for the Distributed Little Red Hen Lab is at

https://sites.google.com/site/distributedlittleredhen/ .

But that's a long URL. Red Hen owns the domain name redhenlab.org, which is currently hosted on a pair.com website. Click to see what it delivers, which includes a way to link to the Google Site. In ancient days, one would have installed a URL redirect, perhaps using .htaccess and a 301 redirect, so that anyone seeking redhenlab.org would be taken directly to https://sites.google.com/site/distributedlittleredhen/. But that process seems to be disparaged now. Who knows the slick way to arrange so that when a user directs a browser to redhenlab.org the user is taken directly to https://sites.google.com/site/distributedlittleredhen/ ?
